Bangladesh Institute of Film and Arts (BIFA) has been awarding the country’s best artists for the past two years. The organizers said that they are selecting the eligible artists for the award in the third season. The BIFA Award is going to be held at the Hall of Fame of Bangabandhu Conference Center on March 2
In this event, lifetime honor will be given to the legendary artist of the subcontinent, Runa Laila. In the meantime, Runa Laila has also agreed to accept the award. This is what the organizers said.
In this event, awards will be given in total 45 categories to the best artistes in popular and jury categories – film, television drama, OTT, song, music video, dance and recital.
Actress Rozina, vocalist Khurshid Alam, Ferdous Ara, actors Azizul Hakim, Tanveen Sweety, Deepa Khandkar and screenwriter and producer Zeenat Hakim are serving as the jury board. Tanzin Tisha, Tama Mirza, Hridi Sheikh, Dighi, Zefar Rahman, Emon Chowdhury, Alea Begum and Shiblu will perform at the award ceremony.
The program will be hosted by actor Abdun Noor Sajal and actress-presenter Masuma Rahman Nabila. Barisha Haque and Imtu Ratish will present the red carpet.
