Dr. Dipu Moni said, our class books are not only for reading, there are many books to read beyond that. I have seen many politicians, despite their busy schedule, they read a lot of books. You have to read books to open the doors and windows of the mind.
He said, learn to love books. We want students to read a lot of books. Currently, students are reading the books of famous people from home and abroad through technology. Students are more socially conscious. By reading books they will become competent, humane and creative.
Dipu Moni said, Bangabandhu, the father of the nation, loved to read books. We want every student to apply their knowledge. Every institution needs to utilize its library. Students should be given the opportunity to read books. 25 lakh students of Chandpur will be beneficiaries. The windows of their minds will open. No previous day. Students should learn even if they mess up.
Addressing the teachers, the minister said that the teachers who sexually harass, are perverted people of the society. If someone commits a crime, no teacher will take his side. If any of you are deranged, inform the head of the institution or law enforcement. A student who is a victim of sexual harassment has to bear this pain for the rest of his life.
