Ruet will be the country’s first research-based smart university: Dr. Abu Taher

.He said this while addressing the Chief Guest at the day-long training workshop on Annual Performance Agreement Formulation, Implementation and Challenges held at Ruet Hall Room on Saturday (February 17) morningAPA team and Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) jointly organized this training workshop in the presiding speech. Md. Jahangir Alam said, apart from involving the students in research, the laboratories will be modernized so that the students here are able to contribute to building the Smart Bangladesh declared by the Prime Minister by 2041.

Director of Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) also spoke at the training workshop. Md. Imdadul Haque, Head Professor of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) Department. Md. Salim Hossain. The workshop was held in two sessions. Inaugural session was held in the first phase and technical session in the second phase. The technical session was moderated by Bishnu Mallick, Deputy Director, SPQA Division, Bangladesh University Grants Commission and focal point of the APA team.

Deans of various faculties, institute directors, department heads of various departments, heads of departments and branches, coordinators of various committees, focal points, alternate focal points, other members etc. were present in this day-long training workshop.
