Bangladesh Police Annual Tennis Competition 2024 final game and prize distribution held. Organized by Bangladesh Police Tennis Club, this competition was held at Ramna Tennis Complex in the capital on Sunday evening.
Inspector General of Police, Bangladesh Chowdhury Abdullah Al-Mamun BPM (Bar), PPM attended the event as the chief guest and enjoyed the competitive game and distributed prizes among the winners.
Additional IGP of CID and President of Bangladesh Police Tennis Club Mohammad Ali Mia chaired the event as special guest was President of Bangladesh Police Women’s Welfare Association (PUNAK) Dr. Taiba Musarrat Janha Chowdhury.
Senior police officers and their spouses were present on the occasion.
In the finals, DMP’s ADC (promoted to SP) Md Shariful Alam and DMP’s Dhanmondi Zone ADC Md Ihsanul Firdaus won the title for DMP in the doubles.
Additional DIG of SB, Md. Sarwar and SSN of SB, Md. Nazrul Islam became runners up.
ADC of DMP (promoted to the post of SP) Md. Shariful Alam became the champion in singles. Md. Ihsanul Firdaus, ADC of Dhanmondi zone of DMP, became the runner-up.
Additional DIG of PBI Md Majid Ali and Inspector of Police (retd) Jahangir Alam bagged the title of champion in senior doubles. Additional DIG of CID Khandaker Rafiqul Islam and SS SSN of SB Md Nazrul Islam became runners up.
