Putin also held Navalny’s body hostage: Yulia

Yulia Navalny, wife of Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny, said President Vladimir Putin tortured her husband’s body. In a six-minute video posted on YouTube, Yulia accused President Putin of holding her husband’s body hostage. He also raised questions about Putin’s religious faith, who claims to be a Christian.

Russian authorities on Friday gave the opposition leader’s mother three hours to accept an offer to bury Navalny without a public funeral. Investigators refused to exhume the body until he agreed.

Navalny’s mother said officials were telling her she should agree to the condition of a secret burial. Because the corpse has already started to melt. Navalny’s aides say authorities have threatened to bury Navalny’s body at the Arctic Circle Penal Colony if the family does not agree to the terms.

In such a situation, Navalny’s wife, Yulia Navalnaya, said in a video published on YouTube, ‘Return my husband’s body to us. We want to have a funeral. I want him to be buried humanely in orthodox Christian manner.’

“We knew that Putin’s religion was fake,” Yulia complained. And now that’s more obvious than ever. No true Christian would ever do what Putin is doing now with the body of Alexei Navalny.’

On February 16, the prison authorities announced the death of this staunch critic of Putin. They said that Navalny suddenly fell unconscious after walking, and then never regained consciousness. Navalny’s wife claims that her husband was killed on Putin’s orders.
