Israel has carried out a major operation in Ramallah

Israeli forces have carried out a major operation in Ramallah, in the occupied West Bank. On Monday (March 4), according to witnesses, the news agency Reuters reported that the Israeli forces carried out the largest operation in Ramallah this year.

Israeli forces shot and killed 16-year-old Mustafa Abu Shalbak during an operation in the Amari refugee camp in Ramallah, the Palestinian Ministry of Health said.

According to Palestinian sources, Israeli forces entered Ramallah, the Palestinian administrative capital, overnight. Meanwhile, they took dozens of Palestinian citizens into military vehicles.

Palestinian news agency WEFA says the clashes began when Israeli forces attacked the camp. At this time Palestinian youths were shot.

There was no comment from the Israeli military.

30,410 Palestinians have been killed so far in Gaza during the five-month Israeli offensive. Most of them are women and children. The number of injured in this attack is at least 71 thousand 700 people.

Meanwhile, Egypt, Qatar, and the United States, which are mediating the ceasefire in Gaza, hope that the ceasefire agreement can be implemented at the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan. In exchange for the release of a few Israelis held hostage in Gaza, the proposal calls for the release of hundreds of Palestinians detained in Israel.
