Those who are unopposed MPs in reserved seats

The Election Commission (EC) has declared all the nominations valid after the scrutiny of the nomination papers submitted for the election of MPs for the reserved female seats of the 12th National Parliament. As a result, the EC declared 50 women candidates elected unopposed. The winners of these candidates will be gazetted on Tuesday (February 27).

Muniruzzaman Talukder, the returning officer (joint secretary) in charge of the election in reserved women’s seats, gave this information on Sunday (February 25).
