Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will visit Germany on Thursday (February 15) to attend the Munich Security Conference. This is going to be his first foreign visit after forming the government in the 12th national election.
According to ministry sources, the Prime Minister is scheduled to leave Dhaka for Munich on Thursday (February 15). He is scheduled to return home on February 18 after completing all the formalities of this two-day visit.
A diplomat in Dhaka said that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will participate in the 60th session of the Munich Security Conference in Munich, Germany, from February 16 to 18. The Prime Minister’s participation in the upcoming conference will highlight the status of Bangladesh on various national and international issues. He will give top priority to the issue of climate change.

He said that the Prime Minister attended the Munich Conference in 2017 and 2019. This will be his third participation in the conference.
Sources in the ministry say that apart from attending the Munich conference, the Prime Minister is scheduled to meet with several heads of government and others. Sheikh Hasina will meet with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen and Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte.
Apart from this, Indian Foreign Minister S Jaishankar and META Global Affairs President Nick Clegg will pay a courtesy call on the Prime Minister.
