The High Court made such a comment in the hearing of the writ filed in the case of the death of child Ayaan (5) after circumcision at the United Medical College Hospital in Badda’s Satarkule.

Advocate Muhammad Shishir Monir of the Supreme Court became an intervenor in the case today. He filed a plea of ​​medical negligence. The High Court has set a date for hearing and order on this matter next Tuesday (February 20).

On Sunday (February 18), a bench consisting of Justice Mustafa Zaman Islam and Justice Atabullah gave the order.
Deputy Attorney General Tushar Kanti Roy, accompanied by Assistant Attorney General Salim Azad and Assistant Attorney General Anich ul Mawa Arzu presented the report for the state in the court on Sunday. Shishir Monir was present at the hearing to be a party to the court. Advocate Zayed bin Amjad is assisting him. Advocate ABM Shahjahan Akand himself heard the writ petition. The child’s father was present in the court during the hearing.

Earlier, the High Court had fixed the date next week for the hearing and order regarding the writ filed regarding the death of baby Ayaan (5) after circumcision at the United Medical College Hospital in Badda’s Satarkule in the capital. Earlier last (February 11) the same bench of the High Court gave the order. As a result, today it is golden.
According to the instructions of the High Court in the hearing, there are 1027 unregistered hospitals, clinics, blood banks and diagnostic centers and 15,23 registered ones across the country. The report in this regard has been filed in the High Court and registered. A hearing on the report will be held next week.

Earlier, the hearing on the writ filed in the case of the death of baby Ayaan at the United Medical College Hospital in Satarkule, Badda of the capital has ended. The High Court fixed February 11 as the date for the order in this regard. The order was given by the same bench of the High Court on January 29.

The child was admitted to Satarkul United Medical College Hospital in the capital on December 31. Doctors perform circumcision under general anesthesia without permission. He did not regain consciousness after that.
Relatives said that on the day of Ayan’s circumcision, 40 to 50 intern doctors of the medical college were inside the operation theater. After being on life support for seven consecutive days, the doctor declared Ayan dead at midnight on January 7.

The High Court ordered a proper inquiry into the cause and manner of death of the child Ayaan. The High Court also asked to take action against the doctors involved in case of negligence in his death. The Director General (Health Services) of the Department of Health was directed to investigate the cause of death of baby Ayaan and submit a report to the court within seven days. Following this, the report of the four-member inquiry committee was presented to the court on January 29 on behalf of the director general of the health department.
