Jasim Uddin, Ambassador of Bangladesh to China, said that Dhaka is ready for high-level dialogue with Beijing at the political and governmental level to further strengthen the important multi-dimensional relationship in the interest of the people of the two countries.
Ambassador Jasim Uddin said this at the Bangladesh Independence Day reception in Beijing on Tuesday. He said, China has emerged as a reliable and important partner of Bangladesh.
Ambassador Jasim Uddin said, “China is not only our largest trading partner. It has become an integral part of our national development narrative along with other friendly countries.”
He said Bangladesh appreciates China for completing a decade of work visible to the world under the BRI as part of the Belt and Road Initiative.
He said, “We look forward to welcoming more Chinese investments that can help realize the vision of making Bangladesh a developed country by 2041.
The ambassador also said that the South Asian country wants to explore areas of cooperation with China for the benefit of both countries.
Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Chen Xiaodong was present at the event.He emphasized Beijing’s readiness to work with Bangladesh to implement the important general consensus reached between the leaders of the two countries, deepen political mutual trust and expand exchanges and cooperation in various fields
