Recently he spoke to an Indian media on the occasion of Pahela Phalgun, Saraswati Puja and World Valentine’s Day. There he also reminisced about his first love in addition to sharing love and affection.
Devalina said, “I fell in love with someone in my area. That boy was my first boyfriend. I gave him my heart. I was in a relationship for 7 years. My family also agreed on this. I exchanged love with her while studying in class 10. But now he is my past.
He also said, “I have not forgotten the first love.” Our relationship broke up due to an unnecessary reason. Still I can’t forget that time. In fact, time is remembered, but the person fades away.
Presently, Saraswati Puja, Valentine’s Day – everything has changed, the actress said, ‘Today’s Saraswati Puja is not like before. Everything is social media centric. We used to wait all year for this special day as kids. Not only that, I used to wait for 364 days hoping to exchange a glance with the one whom I hesitated to look at all year round, on the day of Saraswati Puja. But now the definition of love has changed, now everything has become the body.
Explaining the reason for the change, Devalina said, ‘The reason is mobile phones. Currently, they are seeing various types of content from a young age by searching this and that on the internet. It has lost the purity or simplicity of romance.
In personal life, this actress married producer Tathagata Mukherjee. But in 2021, rumors spread that Tathagata was involved in an extramarital affair with actress Sathan Chatterjee. With this, Devleena created tension in her married life with Tathagata. Although currently living separately, this star couple has not yet officially separated.
