Professor Dr. Mohammad Jahangir Hossain of Islamic History and Culture Department has been appointed as Proctor for two years in Jagannath University (JB).
On Sunday (February 18), the registrar of the university, Md. This information was informed in an office order signed by Ohiduzzaman.
It is said that, subject to the approval of the Syndicate, Dr. Mohammad Jahangir Hossain was appointed as Proctor for next 2 years. This order will be effective from February 19. He will be entitled to allowances and other benefits as per rules. This order was issued in the interest of the university.
Before this, on May 29, 2019, the teacher of the Islamic Studies Department, Dr. Mustafa Kamal was given the responsibility of proctor. After his term expired on July 24, 2021, he was asked to serve as proctor for an indefinite period until re-ordered the next day. Since then he has been serving as proctor.
