Mamata at the iftar party with a bandage on her forehead

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee appeared at the scene the day after the high-rise building collapsed in Kolkata’s Gardenrich. A bandage was seen on his forehead that day too. He then joined Iftar at Park Circus on Thursday.

He was seen in public for the second time after suffering a head injury in a fall. Incidentally, both are in the Kolkata Municipal Area. However, despite the head injury, the Chief Minister regularly goes to Nabanna and does administrative work. Next Sunday, he will start campaigning for the Lok Sabha polls from Dhubuliya in Krishnanagar Lok Sabha constituency in Nadia.

Iftar was organized by a voluntary organization called ‘Uddipani’. Apart from the Chief Minister, there were Mayor Firhad Hakim, Rajya Sabha MP Derek O’Brien, outgoing MP and candidate from two centers of Kolkata Sudeep Banerjee, Mala Roy, Minister Babul Supriyo, and many others.

On March 14, Mamata fell at her house in Kalighat and injured her forehead. Deep wounds also had to be stitched. However, according to Trinamool sources, he is recovering gradually. He has not yet started the election meeting. His last political program was on March 10.
