Israeli casualties in Gaza rise to 29,606

At least 29,606 people have been killed in Gaza so far in the war between Hamas and Israeli forces. Most of them are women and children. In addition, 69 thousand 737 Palestinians were injured. This information was given in a report of Al-Jazeera media.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health of the Gaza Strip said that 92 people were killed in the Israeli attack in Gaza in the last 24 hours, raising the total number to 29,606.

Almost all of Gaza’s 2.3 million residents have been displaced by the Israeli offensive, with a large number taking refuge in Rafah. Israeli forces have also carried out an airstrike on a busy road there. Several people were injured. At that time, bodies of Palestinians were seen lying scattered on the road.

Al-Jazeera’s correspondent from Rafah, Hani Mahmoud, said that the attack was carried out on Saturday (February 24) on the Al-Dakhiliya road in Al-Jeneina area, south of Rafah. The intensity of the attack was so intense that ‘it felt like an earthquake.’ Many cars on the road were destroyed in the attack. Many people were seen lying seriously injured on the side of the road.

The dead bodies were scattered on that road. Seven deaths were reported. Five of them have been identified. The remaining two bodies were mutilated, making it difficult to identify them. The injured have been taken to the local Al-Najjar Hospital
