ISL:Kerala Blasters record memorable comeback win against FC Goa at Kaloor

At the Kaloor Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on Sunday, Kerala Blasters FC, trailing 2-0 in the first half, staged an incredible comeback to defeat FC Goa 4-2. Fedor Cernych (88), Dimitrios Doamantakos (81, 84), and Daisuke Sakai (51) scored goals for the home team.

It was the first time the team from Kochi has come back from a two-goal deficit to win a match. However, after building a two-goal lead, FC Goa coach Manolo Marquez faced the agony of defeat for the first time.

In the closing five minutes of regulation time, Kerala Blasters scored three goals to win the ISL match. Dimitrios Doamantakos, the interim captain, assisted in all three goals, having scored the first two and assisting in the third.

After three straight losses, KBFC managed to secure a victory. With 29 points from games, they were able to overtake FC Goa thanks to the outcome. The Gaurs have played one fewer game and are now at 28.
