On the Independence Day of Bangladesh, President Md. Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin congratulated Sahabuddin and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. He said that if the two countries work together, the friendship will be stronger and the interests of both countries will be protected.
In a letter written to Sheikh Hasina on Tuesday, the Russian Prime Minister said, “Congratulations on the National and Independence Day of Bangladesh on behalf of the Government of the Russian Federation and on my own behalf.”
He also said, ‘Russia-Bangladesh relations are developing in the spirit of friendship and mutual respect. Trade and economic cooperation is progressing and in view of this various joint projects are being implemented.
In the letter, Mikhail Mishustin wished Sheikh Hasina good health and new success in her responsible work and happiness and prosperity of friendly Bangladeshi people.
Chinese President Xi Jinping, Russian Ambassador to Bangladesh Alexander Mantitsky, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken also congratulated the President and Prime Minister of Bangladesh on Independence Day
