7 killed in Israeli attack in Lebanon

Israel launched a deadly attack on Lebanon amid the ongoing conflict between Israel and Palestine. At least seven people were killed.

At least seven people were killed in an Israeli strike in Nabati in southern Lebanon, two security sources told Reuters early on Wednesday.

Sources said the attack was believed to have targeted the Islamic group’s emergency and relief center in the southern Lebanese village of Hebariyeh.

Earlier on Tuesday, three Hezbollah fighters were killed in Israeli airstrikes near two towns in northeastern Lebanon, the powerful armed group said in a Telegram post. Besides, Israel also confirmed this attack.

The border war between Israel and Hezbollah has gradually escalated since October last year and has killed dozens of civilians in Lebanon.

Earlier, Israel launched a deadly attack on Lebanon in the second week of March. Five people, including a pregnant woman, were killed. Four of the dead were members of the same family.
