5 US soldiers killed in helicopter crash

Five US Marines have been killed in a helicopter crash in California. The carrier helicopter disappeared.

We are saddened by the loss of five of our best fighters. The US military has suffered several helicopter and plane crashes in the past few years. In November last year, a small military plane crashed in Japan, killing eight soldiers. That same month, five people were killed when a helicopter crashed during an exercise in the Mediterranean. On the other hand, three soldiers lost their lives in another helicopter crash in Australia in August.
