Barcelona regained confidence with great win in La Liga. They beat Getafe 4-0 at the Olympic Stadium on Saturday.
Rafinha scored the first goal to give Barca the lead. The Brazilian forward received the ball in front of the box after Jules Conde’s long pass. He entered the box and took control of the ball with his right foot and shot the ball into the net with a rocket speed.
Getafe had a chance to equalize after the break. In the 49th minute, Luis Milla’s long-range shot was blocked by Barca goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen. Four minutes later, Joao Felix rattled the net from Andreas Christensen’s extended pass at the right post.
Frenkie de Jong gave Barca their third goal eight minutes after going 2-0 up. Substitute Fermin Lopez put the final nail in Getafe’s coffin in the first minute of added time.
In this victory, Barca overtook Girona with 57 points in 26 matches. They are in second place, five points behind leaders Real Madrid (62).
