On February 24, the TDP and its coalition partner, the Jana Sena Party (JSP), released the initial list of 118 candidates (94 from the TDP and 24 from the JSP) for Assembly Constituencies (ACs).
Out of the 24 candidates, the JSP only provided the identities of five; in contrast, the TDP disclosed the names of all 94 candidates. The JSP plans to run for three seats in the Lok Sabha.
Two prominent TDP contenders are N. Chandrababu Naidu, who will run in Kuppam, and his son, former Mangalagiri MLC Nara Lokesh, who lost to Alla Ramakrishna Reddy of the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) in 2019.
