Mirza Fakhrul mourns the loss of life in Bailey Road fire

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the loss of life in the terrible fire at ‘Kacchi Bhai Restaurant’ in the capital’s Bailey Road.

In a condolence message on Friday, BNP Secretary General said the brutal deaths of 45 people so far in the terrible fire that broke out in a multi-story building on Bailey Road in the capital yesterday at 10:15 and the cries of the burnt people still lying in the hospital beds are very heartbreaking and touching. The number of dead may increase further, said the concerned doctors. If there is no rule of law in the country, accidents and disasters keep happening.
Because the government is not accountable to the people. As a result, anarchy prevails in society, many accidents occur, and people lose their lives. I am deeply saddened and bereaved, like the relatives of those who were killed and injured in the horrific fire at the high-rise building on Bairy Road last night. I pray to Almighty Allah Rabbul Alamin to give patience to the bereaved families to overcome the pain of losing their loved ones. In his condolence message, the BNP General Secretary prayed for the peace of the departed souls and expressed his deepest condolences to the bereaved family members, relatives, and well-wishers. He wished speedy recovery to the victims.
