Government has decided to appoint diplomat Jaki Ahad as the new ambassador of Mauritius. He is currently serving as Consul General of Bangladesh Consulate General in Kunming, China.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced this information in a circular on Sunday.
Diplomat Joki Ahad is a 17th batch officer of BCS (Foreign Affairs) cadre. He joined the service in 1998.
Diplomat Jocky Ahad served in various positions in Bangladesh Mission in Beijing, Hague, Manchester and Kolkata.
Jocky Ahad graduated from Dhaka City College, Masters in Commerce from Jagannath University and MBA from Dhaka University. He also holds a Master’s Degree in Diplomacy and Commerce from Monash University, Australia
