Arindam Natya Community’s play ‘Kabi’ will be staged at Chittagong District Shilpakala Academy Auditorium on Saturday (March 2) evening as part of the Group Theater Festival. Tarashankar Banerjee’s novel ‘Kabi’ has been adapted into a play by Simon Zakaria. Directed by Shamim Hasan.
The play is Arindam’s 29th production. Its central character, Nitai, dreams of becoming Kabyal. The married Thakurji and the bassan of the Jhumur team—these two female characters take Nitai in search of answers to life’s unanswered questions.
