Rafiyat Rashid Mithila’s new film ‘O Abhagi’ is about to release. Along with the premiere of that film, Mithila is in Kolkata for the premiere of Srijit Mukherjee’s ‘Atti Uttam’.
In an interview given to OTT Play, Mithila said, Srijith’s film has just been released. No one asked him about me, about his married life, during the promotion of the excellent film or in the interview. But it does me. This one thing also happened during Mayer’s promotion. Everyone in Bangladesh also knows Srijit as the director of India. And I am his wife. It is very unfortunate. I work internationally, doing PhD, actress too. They are not enough for my identity? Why should I be known as someone’s wife?
Regarding Srijit, Mithila said, Srijit never forgets to surprise me. I knew about Ulupi. But now I came and saw not one but three more ball pythons with him.’
At the same time, he said, ‘To be honest – I am not a fan of python or snake at all. So I’m not sure how I’m going to feel about the whole thing. But I didn’t even stop Srijit.’
