Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina presented awards to five prominent Jayitas for their special contributions in various fields.
He presented the award at a meeting organized on the occasion of International Women’s Day at the Osmani Memorial Auditorium on Friday (March 8) morning.
The five awardees are Anar Koli of Mymensingh, Kalyani Minji of Rajshahi, tea worker Kamli Rabidash of Sylhet, Jahanara Begum of Barguna and Pakhi Dutta Hijra of Khulna.
Each winner was presented with a check of Rs 1 lakh, crest, certificate and certificate.
Secretary of the Ministry of Women and Children Najma Mobarek was also present at the event under the chairmanship of the State Minister of the Ministry of Women and Children Simin Hossain Rimi
