Foreign Minister Dr. Youssef Ramadan, Ambassador of Palestine appointed in Dhaka, met Hasan Mahmud.
The meeting was held at the minister’s office at Segunbagicha in the capital on Thursday. At that time, the foreign minister reiterated Bangladesh’s strong support to Palestine and demanded an immediate end to Israeli attacks on Gaza.
Hasan Mahmud, referring to the strong statement given by Bangladesh to the International Court of Justice last February about the legal consequences of Israel’s aggression and massacres in the occupied Palestinian territory, said that there is no alternative to the unity of the Muslim Ummah and the determination of all parties to establish peace in the region of the Middle East.
Ambassador Youssef Ramadan expressed deep gratitude to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s government for Bangladesh’s continued strong support to Palestine, sincere cooperation and sending relief goods to the people of Gaza.
