National Parliament Whip Nazrul Islam Babu said that the government led by the Prime Minister has made Bangladesh a role model for development. Now a target has been set to make the country Smart Bangladesh by 2041.
Members of Parliament said that the country is moving forward under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina despite the conspiracies of various local and international circles. The country will be transformed into Smart Bangladesh within the stipulated time frame.
Members of Parliament said these things while participating in the discussion of the motion of thanks brought on the President’s speech in the National Parliament on Monday.
Jatiya Sangsad Chief Whip Noor-e-Alam Chowdhury moved the motion of thanks on the President’s speech in the Jatiya Sangsad. The proposal was supported by the Whip of the National Assembly, Abu Saeed Al Mahmud Swapan.
Independent Member of Parliament Shafiqur Rahman said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has made significant progress in various sectors of Bangladesh. The country will be prosperous under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
He said, in his 143-page speech, the President laid emphasis on good governance, skilled youth development, local government, development of tribals and development of defense system of the country.
Jatiya Party member Masud Uddin Chowdhury said that the current government led by Awami League is working towards building the golden Bengal of the dream of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the father of the nation.
