Army chief SM Shafiuddin Ahmed said that whenever the government gets an opportunity to do any development work, the army does it with the highest professional skills. Dhaka-Bhanga-Narail-Jesore railway construction work will not be an exception. Hopefully, this railway construction will be completed by April this year.
On Tuesday (February 20), as part of the Narail visit, the newly built Mallikpur Union Government Secondary School of Lohagara Upazila, Professor Sheikh Md. The army chief said this during the exchange of views after the inauguration of Rokon Uddin Ahmed Multipurpose Hall. Teachers and students of that educational institution and local dignitaries participated in this exchange of views. The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said Army Chief Madhumati visited Narail to inspect various activities of the Army camp.
In the school ceremony, the army chief also said that, due to the appeal of the local people, Karfa village has been prevented from collapsing due to the total cooperation of all. I am planning to further develop the place with a permanent form in the future.
Meanwhile, ISPR said in a press release that Army Chief General Shafiuddin Ahmed went to Narail on Tuesday to inspect various activities at Madhumati Army Camp. During this, he inspected the progress of the Narail Railway Station being constructed by the Padma Setu Rail Link Project (PBRLP) and various facilities. During this, he inspected various public welfare projects, including road widening, by the 24 Engineering Construction Battalion and gave the necessary directions. Besides, after distributing blankets among the local poor and needy, he inaugurated the ‘Al Huda Mosque’ established on his donated land in front of the 10-bed Mother and Child Welfare Center in Karfa under Lohagara Upazila of Narail.
In addition, he is the newly built Professor Sheikh Md. Mallikpur Union Government Secondary School. Rokon Uddin Ahmed inaugurated the multipurpose hall. The GOC of 55 Infantry Division, Jessore Area Commander, Chief Consultant General Senadar, Ad Hoc CSC, Chief Coordinator, Padma Bridge Rail Link Project, Deputy Commissioner of Narail, and senior military officers were present on these occasions.
