Bangladesh will work with Maldives in tourism

Prime Minister’s Private Industry and Investment Adviser Salman F. Rahman has expressed his interest in working with Maldives for the development of Bangladesh’s tourism sector. He said this when the advisor to the President of Maldives, Mohammad Ali Jannah, came to Gulshan office on Monday.
He also emphasized on the implementation of various product export and mutual investment opportunities in the country. Salman F. Rahman said, detailed discussions were held in a sincere atmosphere regarding strengthening and diversifying the trade and investment relations of both countries. There was also discussion about joining the supply chain of resorts and hotels in Maldives. Apart from this, there is also an opportunity to increase the employment of Bangladeshis in the country. Advisor to the President of Maldives, Mohammad Ali Jannah, said, “We can take integrated joint ventures, which will be beneficial for the people of both countries.”

He expressed gratitude on behalf of his government to the Bangladeshi workers for their role in the economic development of Maldives.
