Bangladesh-India cooperation is necessary: ​​Prime Minister

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said that since Bangladesh and India are close neighbors, cooperation between them is essential. The Prime Minister said this when visiting Indian Air Force Chief Air Chief Marshal Vivek Ram Chowdhury paid a courtesy call on the Prime Minister at his office at Jatiya Sangsad Bhavan on Tuesday (February 27) evening.

Sheikh Hasina pointed out that poverty is the main enemy in the region and said that maximum resources are being spent on poverty alleviation. He also told the Indian Air Chief that Bangladesh has established Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Aviation and Aerospace University (BSMRAAU) where new human resources are being developed.

Talking about Bangladesh’s ‘Forces Goal-2030’, Vivek Ram Chowdhury said that they have taken the initiative to conduct joint exercises as well as cooperation in the training of Bangladesh Air Force personnel. He said that they are ready to provide all kinds of cooperation for the development of Bangladesh Air Force.
