Like every year, on the occasion of International Mother Language Day, a meeting of language lovers of two Bengali languages has been held at Benapole International Check Post No Man’s Land area.
The fair was organized on Wednesday (February 21) morning. At that time, hundreds of language lovers of both countries could not enter the barricade of BGB and BSF.
Hundreds of language lovers from India and Bangladesh jointly paid tribute to the martyrs at 10:30 am at the temporary Shaheed Bedi constructed at Benapole Checkpost No-Man’s Land.
West Bengal Bangaon Region MLA Sri Narayan Goswami and Jessore-1 Constituency Member of Parliament Sheikh Afil Uddin led the two countries.
