Will Russia attack Poland and Latvia:Putin

Russian President Vladimir Putin has said that Russia has no interest in invading Poland or Latvia. Putin made these comments in an interview broadcast on Thursday.

Putin interviewed American journalist Tucker Carlson for more than two hours.

Meanwhile, Russia launched a military invasion of Ukraine almost two years ago. Putin gave an interview to an American journalist for the first time since the start of the invasion of Ukraine.

In the interview, Putin said that Russia will fight for its interests. But Russia has no interest in dragging the Ukraine war into other countries like Poland and Latvia.Putin was asked if he could imagine a scenario where Russian troops would be sent to Poland, a member of the Western military alliance NATO.

In response, Putin said that only one case would happen if Poland attacked Russia. Russia has no interest in Poland, Latvia, or anywhere else.

Putin said, Why should we do that?”.

Will? We have no interest.

Putin’s interview was conducted in the Russian capital, Moscow, on Tuesday. The interview was published on TuckerCarlson.com.

Putin spoke in Russian during the interview. His speech was translated into English.

Putin began his interview with lengthy comments on Russia’s relations with other countries, including Ukraine and Poland.

The Kremlin said Putin agreed to interview Carlson because the former Fox News host’s views differed from the one-sided coverage of the Ukraine war by many Western media outlets.

Former US President Donald Trump is believed to have had a close relationship with Carlson. Trump is expected to be the candidate of the Republican Party in the next US presidential election.

The current US President Joe Biden’s administration has been strongly supporting Ukraine in this war. On the other hand, Trump has been calling for an end to the war in Ukraine.
