North Korea has sent over three million cannonballs and hundreds of thousands of rounds of ammunition, according to South Korea’s Defense Minister Shin Wonsik. The South Korean minister did not, however, provide information regarding the source of this data.
He claimed that because of a lack of raw materials and electricity, North Korea’s hundreds of weapons facilities were only using roughly 30% of their full potential. However, production of artillery ammunition for Russia is proceeding at full pace. Russia has given North Korea food, raw materials, and weapon parts in return for armaments.
According to Shin, North Korea was given weaponry in return for hundreds of thousands of containers of products. This is food for the most part. Food prices there have stabilized as a result of this.
North Korea and Russia have improved their relations recently.
