The court has granted bail to BNP Standing Committee member Mirza Abbas in Dhaka Railway Police case. In this regard, he got bail in all 11 cases against Mirza Abbas based on BNP general meeting on October 28. Therefore, there is no obstacle to his release from prison, his lawyer said.
On Monday (February 19), Dhaka Chief Judicial Magistrate Julhas Uddin granted his bail after the hearing. He got bail in all the cases. Mirza Abbas’s lawyer Mohiuddin Chowdhury said that Mirza Abbas got bail in all the cases. Now there is no obstacle to release from prison. He will be released from prison only after receiving bail.
It is to be noted that on the night of October 31 last year, Metropolitan Detective Police arrested Mirza Abbas from Shahid Bagh in Dhaka in a case of sabotage. He has been in prison ever since.
