Saudi will help to establish 9 iconic mosques in Bangladesh

Saudi Arabia to provide assistance to build 9 iconic mosques in Bangladesh. Saudi Ambassador Isa Yousef Isa Al Duhailan on Wednesday Minister of Religion. He said this in a bilateral meeting with Faridul Haque Khan in his office room.

 

The Minister of Religion said that there was a sincere discussion with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina regarding the construction of the mosque. The Prime Minister took the Saudi government’s interest in building the iconic mosque very positively and congratulated the Saudi government. He also said that the Prime Minister will build 8 iconic mosques in 8 sections

He also expressed his desire to build a large mosque centrally in the capital Dhaka.

 

The Minister of Religion mentioned that the Prime Minister has immediately ordered the Ministry of Public Works to allocate the required land in the east of Dhaka.

 

The Saudi Ambassador expressed his satisfaction knowing the desire of the Prime Minister and agreed to establish 9 iconic mosques in Bangladesh.

 

Later, the Minister of Religion informed the Ambassador about the establishment of the proposed Arabic Language Institute funded by the Saudi government.

 

He said that a place has been selected for the establishment of the Arabic Language Institute in the place acquired by the Islamic Arabic University in Basila, Dhaka, and the design has already been prepared through the Department of Education and Engineering.

 

He requested the ambassador to see the design.

 

The Saudi ambassador carefully looked at the design and expressed his observations.

He emphasized on having a sports center here for sports.

 

The Saudi ambassador expressed his satisfaction regarding the processing of Hajj this year, saying that previously there was a problem in controlling the Hajj agencies.

 

Besides, middlemen used to extort money from pilgrims. But by digitizing the Hajj process, we can control the entire process very easily. As a result, the suffering of pilgrims has been reduced to a great extent.
