Giving felicitations to BGB’s award-winning freedom fighters and their families
A special Durbar of BGB Director General was held on the occasion of Border Guard Bangladesh Day celebration. On this occasion, medals and awards were presented in recognition of bravery and meritorious work in BGBBGB Director General Major General Mohammad Ashrafuzzaman Siddiqui, OSP, BSP, SUP, NDC, PSC, MPhil received a special darba of BGB members at the border conference center of BGB headquarters in Pilkhana on the morning of 11 March 2024.
At the end of the Durbar, 28 individual awards were given to the best Company/BOP Commanders for outstanding achievements in operational activities, anti-smuggling and drug seizure in BGB. At the same time 04 best battalions were given trophies. After that 53 persons were awarded operational and administrative certificates (with insignia) of the Director General.
Later, BGB Director General felicitated, gave gifts and grants to the freedom fighters and their families.
