Illegal hoarders are friends of BNP: Food Minister.

Food Minister Sadhan Chandra Majumder mentioned that the illegal hoarders are allies of the BNP. He said those who create crises through illegal stockpiling are enemies of the country.

He said these things in the afternoon of Friday (February 23) in Radhanagar of Bahadurpur Union of Niamatpur Upazila, Naogaon, while inspecting the ongoing work of the 192-meter-long newly constructed bridge over Shibnadi and speaking as the chief guest at the Sudhi rally after the 12th Parliament election.

The food minister said that those who do not want the good of the country want to overthrow Sheikh Hasina. They want to destabilize the government. We have to protect our country. You have to protect the dignity of your vote.

Two days before the elections, the dishonest traders suddenly increased the price of rice by 8–10 rupees. They thought it would be a month before someone else became the food minister. When they saw that Minister Sadhan Mazumdar was in trouble, they were in trouble, and we were also in trouble. District-to-district meetings have to be held to keep the rice market in order. The Food Minister mentioned that the anti-hoarding operation had to be carried out.

He said the Bangladesh Awami League believes in a non-communal spirit. In the January 7 election, the people voted in favor of that spirit and elected Sheikh Hasina as Prime Minister again. Claiming himself as a non-communal-minded person, he said, “I have built a mosque next to the temple where I built it.” I serve men and do human religion.

He also said that the Radhanagar bridge will play a role in increasing trade between Rajshahi and Naogaon districts. The biggest change will be in the road transport sector. Farmers can easily market their products due to the easier and faster communication of urban people with villages.

President of Bahadurpur Union Awami League and Chairman of Union Parishad Mamunur Rashid Mamun spoke at the event, as did Vice President of District Awami League Abdul Khalek, President of Niamatpur Upazila Awami League Abul Kalam Azad, Secretary of Agriculture Affairs of District Awami League Abed Hossain Milon, and Vice President and Upazila Awami League. Parishad Chairman Farid Ahmed, Vice President Ishwar Chandra Barman, General Secretary Narayan Chandra Pramanik, and others.
