The ‘9th International Fire Safety and Security Expo 2024’ is starting from next Saturday with an effort to strengthen the fire safety system in the country by reducing the risk of fire, providing modern equipment to ensure fire safety and increasing the awareness of fire safety and security in all quarters. This three-day international exhibition has been organized by the Electronics Safety and Security Association of Bangladesh (ISAB).
ISAB leaders gave this information at a press conference organized at the National Press Club of the capital on Wednesday (February 14).
Niaz Ali Chishti, president of ISAB, presented the detailed information of this exhibition in the press conference. ISAB senior vice president SM Shahjahan Saju, vice president Mahmudur Rashid, secretary general Zakir Uddin Ahmed, joint general secretary Md. Mahmud A Khoda, Publicity Secretary. Nazrul Islam and Deputy Director of Fire Service and Civil Defense Directorate.
ISAB President Niaz Ali Chishti said, as the size of the country’s economy grows, the issue of fire safety is becoming more important. Fire safety and security has become a challenge in Bangladesh’s socio-economic development and sustainable infrastructure construction. Electronics Safety and Security Association of Bangladesh (ISAB) is going to organize the International Fire Safety and Security Expo 2024 to reduce the risk of fire and strengthen the fire safety system in the country. Organized for the 9th time, this international exhibition will be held from February 17 to 19 at the Bangabandhu International Conference Center in the capital. The three-day expo will be open for visitors from 11 am to 8 pm. The president of ISAB mentioned that through this exhibition, the latest technologies made by the world’s biggest brands will be presented to everyone.
Prime Minister’s Private Industry and Investment Adviser Salman F Rahman will inaugurate this exhibition as the chief guest, Niaz Ali Chishti said, more than 100 world-renowned companies from 30 countries of the world will participate in this exhibition who will display their latest fire safety and security products. Products in three categories will be displayed in this expo. Which includes fire safety solutions, security solutions and building automation.
Pointing out that ‘ISAB Safety Excellence Award’ is getting special importance in this year’s expo, he said, commercial buildings, residential buildings and industrial factories; Those who have ensured proper fire fighting and safety measures in these three categories will be honored with awards.
He also said that the families of the fire fighters will also be given a special honor by ISAB for their brave role in fire fighting and accident rescue.
In the press conference, ISAB Secretary General Zakir Uddin Ahmed said that in keeping with the increasing development and dynamics of the country, the members of ISAB are working continuously to ensure the safety of the overall industry and trade and housing sector of the country.
