Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) has celebrated the 104th birth anniversary and National Children’s Day 2024 of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the greatest Bengali of all time, the undisputed leader of the freedom struggle, the great architect of Bangladesh, Father of the Nation.
On the occasion of celebrating the day, the national flag was hoisted at BGB headquarters and all other units of BGB across the country in the morning. Bangabandhu’s ‘Historic 7th March’ speech at 10.30 am, Bangabandhu’s speech at the closing parade of the 3rd batch of the then Bangladesh Rifles (BDR) on December 05, 1974 and a documentary titled ‘Unfinished Epic’ were screened. Later there was a special discussion on the life and work of Bangabandhu.
Major General Mohammad Ashrafuzzaman Siddiqui, OSP, BSP, SUP, NDC, PSC, MPhil (Major General Mohammad Ashrafuzzaman Siddiqui, OSP, BSP, SUP, ndc, psc, MPhil) presided over the meeting held at the Border Conference Center at BGB Headquarters, Pilkhana. was present as a guest.
On the occasion of the 104th birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, special prayers were offered in the mosques of all regions, institutions, sectors and units, including the Central Mosque at Bad Johar Pilkhana, wishing for the prosperity and welfare of Bangabandhu and his family, the country, the nation and the BGB.
All levels of BGB officers, junior officers, soldiers of other ranks, civil officers and employees were present in the programs organized on the occasion of the celebration of the day
