He said these things in his speech as the chief guest at the release of the book ‘Sheikh Hasina’s philosophy and leadership, the key to development’ written by AK Abdul Momen, chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and former foreign minister, at the Abdul Karim Literary Auditorium of Bangla Academy on Sunday (February 18).
Former Minister of State for Planning, Dr. Shamsul Alam presided over the event, among others, writer, chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and former Minister of Foreign Affairs, AK Abdul Momen, fiction writer and managing editor Prothom Alor Anisul Haque, Professor of Economics Department of Dhaka University. Muhammad Shahadat Hossain Siddiqui, Mahmudul Hasan, Managing Director of Bengalbooks, Azahar Farhad, General Manager of Bengalbooks spoke.
The minister said that if there is no vision then the country cannot reach its desired goals. People’s leader Sheikh Hasina has planned how this country will last 100 years. Being a visionary leader made it possible for him to do this. He said that many countries in the world are now following Bangladesh’s development model, which is basically following Sheikh Hasina’s philosophy.
Earlier, the Minister unveiled the cover of the book “Sheikh Hasina’s Philosophy, Vision and Leadership Key to Development” written by former Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen.
Later, the Minister unveiled the cover of the book ‘Know Bangabandhu and Tell Generations about the Liberation War’ written by the brave freedom fighter Nurul Islam Momen at Nazrul Manch of Bangla Academy.
