Keeping in mind the motto, March 17 is National Children’s Day-2024 and the 104th birth anniversary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the greatest Bengali ever, the great architect of independent Bangladesh, is being celebrated with due dignity and enthusiasm by Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defense Forces. On the occasion of March 17, a discussion meeting and documentary film “Our Bangabandhu” and “Unfinished Epic” were shown in the auditorium of the headquarters of Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defense Force. Honorable Director General of Forces Major General AKM Aminul Haque, BAM, NDC, AFWC, PSC, PhD was present as the Chief Guest. Additional Director General Brigadier General Md. Nazim Uddin, BAM, Deputy Director Generals, Directors and officers of different levels of the force were present.
Later, Milad Mahfil and special prayers were organized at the headquarters mosque of Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defense Bahini on March 17, asking for the forgiveness of the departed soul of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman
