Awami League will work with foreign friends, but will not accept dominance, said Obaidul Quader, general secretary of the party.
He said this in a briefing at the Awami League president’s political office in Dhanmondi on Tuesday (February 27) afternoon.
Quader said, failure has made BNP careless and careless. Their negative mentality is pressing on the government. Which I don’t see in reality. BNP could not be optimistic about the US’s last words, so it took the strategy of keeping quiet. Even after the meeting with the US representatives, BNP did not give any response.
He said, they (BNP) said that there will be no election. If there is an election, it will not last even five days. But after the election they still have no response. Because they didn’t get what they wanted from the US. They wanted to hear that there would be a ban on the government.
He also said that hearing the broken record of lies of BNP leaders has become deafening. Now their voices are a little less loud. The poison in the mouth has become more fierce.
Regarding the repayment of foreign debt, he said, Bangladesh has not defaulted in debt repayment so far, it will not happen again this time. But the debt may increase more than before.
