Rain with gusty winds is forecast over five regions of the country. The Meteorological Office has also asked the river ports in these areas to display warning signal number 1.
The Department of Meteorology has given this forecast for the inland river ports of the country from 9 am to 6 pm on Saturday.
According to the Met office, temporary gusty or gusty winds or thundershowers may occur over Kushtia, Khulna, Jessore, Barisal and Noakhali districts on Saturday by 6 pm from west or north-west direction at a speed of 45 to 60 km per hour.
Meanwhile, in another notification of the Meteorological Office, it is said that the extension of western low pressure is staying in West Bengal and adjoining areas. Seasonal normal low pressure is located over South Bay of Bengal.
In this situation, rain with temporary gusty wind or rain with thunder may occur in Rajshahi, Khulna, Barisal and Dhaka divisions along with Comilla and Noakhali regions on Saturday
