The Saudi government is taking various initiatives to make Hajj management more fair and safe. As part of this, Saudi Arabia has instructed tourists and local residents to refrain from performing Hajj without permission during the Hajj season.
According to the Hajj and Umrah Ministry of the country, it is illegal to perform Hajj without permission. If you break this law, you will have to pay a fine of 50,000 Saudi riyals, which is equivalent to about 15 lakh taka in Bangladeshi currency. Besides, whoever or those who are caught transporting unauthorized persons to Makkah will also be fined the same amount.
The warning was issued by the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah on Friday (February 23). The news is from Gulf News.
According to the report, performing Hajj without permission is illegal. Those who break this law will be fined 50,000 Rials. Even those caught transporting unauthorized persons to Makkah will be fined 50,000 Riyals.
The report also said that expatriates who break this law during the Hajj season will first be sentenced to six months in prison. They will be sent back to their home country after their imprisonment. They will also be banned from entering Saudi Arabia for the next 10 years. Apart from this, the identity of these law breakers will be published in the local press. So that everyone around them can recognize them.
