Finance Minister Abul Hasan Mahmud Ali said, there is some pressure to pay foreign debt. However, the issue of too much pressure is not like that. Are we dead for debt repayment?
The minister said these things to reporters after a meeting with the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and IFAD at the finance minister’s office in Agargaon in the capital on Thursday (February 22).
Regarding inflation, the minister said, there is some discomfort with inflation. One decreases and the other increases again. What to do by force? But be patient, everything will be fine.
He also said that IFAD has released two billion dollars for the development of Renu Pona on Hal River. I will do more such work in the future. IOM deals with overseas migrants. They work to bring expatriates. They will continue this type of support in the future.
