After a long wait, the resolution of the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip was passed by the UN Security Council, but it is “stuck in the corner.” A senior official of the country said that Israel has summoned its representatives from Doha to the country due to the demands of Hamas.

Israel has said that it is willing to release twice as many Palestinian prisoners as were released from Israel during the first ceasefire. They will also allow some displaced Palestinians to enter northern Gaza.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office said on Tuesday that Hamas had made all the “misleading” demands as a condition of the deal. It shows that the Palestinians are not interested in reaching a cease-fire agreement.
Meanwhile, around 300 relatives and supporters of hostages still held by the Palestinian independence movement Hamas gathered outside Israel’s defense headquarters in Tel Aviv on Tuesday, demanding a deal to free the hostages at any cost.
