With a spot in the Scotties Tournament of Hearts final on the line, Rachel Homan hit the greatest stroke of the week to force an extra end against the legendary Jennifer Jones. With a straight face, Homan turned to address her crew and said, “Let’s go.”

Homan faced “a degree of difficulty that was off the charts” in her final try to tie the score in the tenth, with the game level at one. Ontario coach Don Bartlett expressed his disappointment with Homan’s stroke.
